About me: Executive Director of EUCEN since July 2008. In this position, on the one hand I work with the Steering Committee of EUCEN in the strategic positioning of the Association at European level and coordinating relationships to external stakeholders. On the other hand, I am responsible for managing the day-to-day business of the Association as Director of the EUCEN Secretariat in Barcelona, including the preparation of the annual work plan and budget, the monitoring of performance and the reporting. Due to the specific character of EUCEN, my responsibilities include building up effective collaboration with academic experts for the development of expertise in University Lifelong Learning (ULLL) and relevant products such as publications. Equally important, I am responsible for the development and management of European projects. In relation to this last point, I have fully and successfully coordinated all EUCEN projects since 2011 (i.e. ALLUME, IMPLEMENT, DIALOGUE, OBSERVAL-Net, COMMIT, HE4u2, VINCE and ApprEnt).
