The course is a comprehensive programme targeted to train the new professional profile of Water Footprint Manager: companies will be trained to manage water resources in a more sustainable and efficient way, also respecting the relevant European and national legislation.

I'm currently working with Cristina Costa on an Erasmus+ project, which deals with digital literacy. The project aims to support citizens in the acquisition of digital skills and competences, needed to cope with the challenges of a globalized, digital world.

However, the more I get into this, it shows that digital literacies means a lot more than just accumulating ICT skills and competences. When searching the internet, I found this quite interesting presentation on "digital literacies" on TEDx. Really worth the 17 minutes I spent on watching the video.

The project aims to help people facing the process of civilizational change (social, political, economic, and cultural) and, consequently, to shape the needs of future generations."

One of the major outcomes of this project will be a european-wide MOOC course program. My colleagues and I have just started with the analysis of around 20 US and European based MOOCs, representing the current state-of-the-art. We will share our findings within this group, and look forward for comments and (critical) friends remarks. - feeling happy

There is a pressing need to understand how learning in newly open educational communities happens and how learning and teaching technology can support in this context.
