The 3DECO-PRENEURS4VET Exhibition in Cyprus was successfully held on 20 April 2024 at the Second Technical School of Nicosia (TESEK), bringing together educators, vocational education and training (VET) professionals, and key stakeholders to explore the role of digital innovation in shaping future skills.
Organized in the framework of the 3DECO-PRENEURS4VET project, the exhibition aimed to promote the integration of 3D technologies into VET education, fostering entrepreneurial thinking and sustainable practices. The event opened with a warm welcome and registration session, followed by an introduction to Emphasys Centre and its work in advancing digital education and skills development.
Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of 3D printing and its growing relevance in the VET sector, particularly in bridging the gap between education and labour market demands. The core part of the exhibition focused on presenting the project’s objectives, partnership, and innovative methodology.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of the project’s competence framework and training modules. These covered a wide range of topics, including 3D design and printing, the use of Tinkercad, social entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial skills, and green competences. Attendees also had the opportunity to explore the project’s key outputs, such as the guidebook, student handbook, and the dedicated online platform designed to support both educators and learners.
The exhibition concluded with an open discussion session, where participants exchanged ideas, shared feedback, and discussed ways to apply the project results in their own educational and professional contexts.
Overall, the 3DECO-PRENEURS4VET Exhibition in Cyprus proved to be a highly engaging and informative event, successfully promoting digital innovation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship within the VET sector while strengthening collaboration among local stakeholders.
