GREENovation is an Erasmus+ project designed to address the evolving demands of the job market driven by the green transition and digital transformation. Recognizing that adults with fewer opportunities often face significant hurdles in adapting to these shifts, the project's core mission is to equip them with the crucial skills and knowledge needed to not only overcome emerging skills gaps but also to successfully establish themselves as thriving green entrepreneurs.
To achieve this, GREENovation partners organize interactive and collaborative activities, such as:
- Blended Discussion Forums and Focus Groups: These interactive sessions serve as a platform for educators, industry experts, and policymakers to co-design the profile of the modern green entrepreneur. Through guided discussions, participants collaboratively define the essential skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed for success in green entrepreneurship. These forums also act as a catalyst for transnational dialogue, ensuring that diverse regional experiences and best practices inform the project’s strategies.
- Transnational Mapping and Collaborative Workshops: Complementing the discussion forums is a mapping exercise that documents and visually represents successful green enterprises across Europe. This activity culminates in a digital map—enriched with up-to-date factsheets and case studies—that serves as both inspiration and a practical resource.
- Collaborative workshops and networking HUBs are also established to further disseminate insights, enabling participants to exchange innovative ideas and strategies. These workshops emphasize the practical application of learned skills, bridging theoretical frameworks with real-world green job environments through subsequent digital tools such as an interactive e-learning kit, a VR simulation game, and a mobile application.
