From the country reports of the EAEA members, it is obvious that many EAEA members struggle with the financing of their organisations and their courses. EAEA has therefore decided to organize an exploratory workshop in order to see what could be done at European level. It is obvious that the main financing instruments are administered at the national / regional / local / communal levels and therefore any European strategies will have strict limitations. Nevertheless, the importance of this topic deserves further investigation, which this workshop is meant to provide.
