The first day of the school year in Iceland is filled with excitement and anticipation as students return to their classrooms after the summer break. The only thing different from another countries is that in Iceland, the first day of the school is on Thursday, when everyone meets their teachers. The first school day, according to schedule, is on Friday. That is what we call a smooth transition. How is in other countries and schools and what do you think of this kind of start?
