This guide aims to equip Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC)
personnel with practical tools, best practices, and methodologies to support
children in developing the skills necessary for a successful transition from
preschool to primary school. The guidelines have been prepared within the
Erasmus+ project UPSTAIRS, which aims at transforming the transition to
primary school from a stressful period to a creative one, resulting in happy,
condent, and collaborative children. The recommendations presented in
this guide are based on the results of pilots and workshops, ensuring that
they are evidence-based and eective.

Daniel Wójcik Very often, educators involved in the transition of children from pre-school to primary school (pre-school teachers, first grade teachers in primary schools, parents of children) are insufficiently supported with ready-to-use practical tips, a collection of examples, methodologies and other forms of support. This is especially true when a child encounters problems on his/her way to primary school. But not only that, those who want to prepare their child for this transition in the smoothest and most sensitive way possible are also looking for resources and guidance. It seems to me that the materials produced by the Upstairs project fulfil these tasks perfectly and respond to the real needs of the transition environment. Chargement du contenu, veuillez patienter.
